This is the sound I hear every morning while I milk my goats. As I lean into their warm side, I hear little gurgling explosions inside their rumens. I hear the hiss as the streams of milk hit the foam in the pail. Sometimes, I hear birds chirping in the trees nearby. Other times I hear raindrops on the roof and on the wet wood chips at my feet. These are the sounds that create my morning routine.
As a teenager, I spend a lot of time thinking about my future. I have become interested in the idea of building my own tiny house. With such a small abode, (around 130 square feet) I could only keep the most meaningful possessions and my expenses would be very minimal. This would allow me to live a simple life: a life with just enough.
In this blog, I will explore the dreams of my future, including goats, tiny houses, and a simple life with time for rumbling rumens.
